With roots in electrical engineering and an MBA in strategy, I first built deep commercial know-how inside global high-tech companies—holding diverse roles in business development. Over the past decade I’ve turned AI from buzzword to business results: I co-founded one of Hungary’s most respected AI consultancies, guided enterprise AI programs in telecom, pharma and banking, and helped shape the national AI strategy. My edge is translating frontier technology into business models and actionable road-maps for C-suite leaders, product teams, innovation units and investors, ensuring every stakeholder sees measurable value from AI.

Ottó has been guest lecturer for our faculty at Budapest University of Economics and Business (BGE) for the past several years. His contribution has been especially valuable in helping our students develop a practical, real-world, business-oriented understanding of artificial intelligence.

As part of our digital transformation focus, I organised two workshops on Artificial Intelligence for the Scientific Association for Infocommunications (HTE). We select the venture of Ottó Werschitz, Cognivate AI for these trainings.
The first session provided a general introduction to AI concepts and trends, while the second one was tailored to the specific activities and professional fields of HTE — with practical examples relevant to our community.
These sessions proved to us was very useful and inspiring our members, helping us better understand how AI can support our scientific and communication goals. The evaluation of these training courses provided by the participants was exceptional high.

As part of IPOSZ (Hungarian Craftsman Organisation’s Association) strategic objective to strengthen the AI literacy and digital competitiveness of Hungarian entrepreneurs, our association joined the EU-wide AI4SMEs project, the local implementation of which was supported by Ottó Werschitz (Cognivate AI). Ottó developed AI training materials specifically tailored to the realities of Hungarian SMEs, with particular attention to the small business profiles that dominate the membership of IPOSZ. Based on this curriculum, he delivered practical, hands-on AI training courses to small businesses across a wide range of industries. His contribution was highly appreciated nationwide by the many entrepreneurs who participated in these trainings, and it significantly supported their understanding of how AI can be applied in a practical and business-relevant way.
