As an experienced AI business expert with a strong track record in enterprise AI strategy and implementation, I help leaders and organizations think strategically, innovate boldly, and navigate complexity—the very essence of what Cognivate stands for.
Alongside this work, my passion for AI drives me to stay at the forefront of cutting-edge AI developments, exploring their broader economic and societal implications.
Guiding enterprises and teams to successfully adopt and scale AI through strategic leadership, cultural readiness, and seamless business–technology integration.
Helping AI innovators turn bold ideas into market-ready products with strategic clarity and commercial traction.
Building strategic AI communities that ignite collaboration, accelerate adoption, and create lasting impact.
With roots in electrical engineering and an MBA in strategy, I first built deep commercial know-how inside global high-tech companies—holding diverse roles in business development. Over the past decade I’ve turned AI from buzzword to business results: I co-founded one of Hungary’s most respected AI consultancies, guided enterprise AI programs in telecom, pharma and banking, and helped shape the national AI strategy. My edge is translating frontier technology into business models and actionable road-maps for C-suite leaders, product teams, innovation units and investors, ensuring every stakeholder sees measurable value from AI.
I pursue these themes because they sit at the intersection of what excites me most about AI and where I see the greatest potential for real-world impact.
AI-Centred Business Models – Crafting revenue engines where AI is the product, not a plugin.
ROI & Value Creation – Hard-nosed economics of AI investments, from TCO to payback.
GenAI for Knowledge Workers – Playbooks that turn LLMs into everyday co-pilots.
Autonomous Agents & Alignment – Monitoring research & development of safe, goal-directed agentic AI systems for enterprise workflows.
Frontier & AGI Watch – Tracking breakthroughs and their ethical and strategic implications.
Real-world examples of how I’ve helped organizations move from AI ambition to adoption — and from adoption to tangible business transformation.

What makes Ottó’s lectures particularly impactful is his balanced perspective. He not only provides a clear overview of AI technologies, but also explains how AI projects can be planned and implemented in enterprise environments, and what kinds of business value and measurable success AI applications can deliver, illustrated through real-life examples.
In addition, Ottó regularly shares insights on the latest AI innovations and helps students understand their relevance and implications for businesses. He is enthusiastic about passing on his hands-on experience in applying AI in enterprise contexts, which makes his sessions both engaging and highly relevant.

As part of IPOSZ (Hungarian Craftsman Organisation’s Association) strategic objective to strengthen the AI literacy and digital competitiveness of Hungarian entrepreneurs, our association joined the EU-wide AI4SMEs project, the local implementation of which was supported by Ottó Werschitz (Cognivate AI). Ottó developed AI training materials specifically tailored to the realities of Hungarian SMEs, with particular attention to the small business profiles that dominate the membership of IPOSZ. As a holding company comprising eleven portfolio companies across a wide range of industries, Angelfish Kft. needed a clear understanding of what artificial intelligence is and how it can realistically support operations across different business contexts. In addition, we wanted to explore how Generative AI could be applied both in everyday individual work and specifically within finance-related activities.
